What will be your top priority if elected?
Make Hawaii safe and healthy youtu.be/RNWrhPC7B2M?
If elected, what would you do to help Hawaii residents cope with the
overall high cost of living?
Hawaii needs to be self sufficient, take care of ourselves, this will help
all of us feed ourselves, and use the land to live and produce what we
need to be safe and healthy in a quickly changing environmental climate
change era. A circular economy.
What would you do to make housing more affordable in Hawaii?
Need to change the laws on zoning and housing requirements so they are
respective of the neighborhood, yet open enough for people to live on
the land and produce.
What can the state government do to help alleviate chronic homelessness
throughout the islands?
Create sleeping/camping areas for temporary stays, opening up and
offering out of town agriculture lands to create a home and agricultural
base for self sufficiency and community living. In the face of federal cutbacks, what can the state do to make up for lost
funding for essential services in Hawaii?
Like to create a more community based system, where the community
takes over many of the jobs the government now does at a high cost and
ever increasing demand. Benefits accrue to the community as belonging
to the local club with sharing of food, meals, safety, and assistance at
local neighborhood level.
In the aftermath of recent political corruption scandals, what would you
propose to help restore public confidence in state government?
Transparency, like to set up the Kupuna League as consultants, and
oversears to monitor our government system.
Do you believe Hawaii needs campaign finance reform? If yes, what
changes would you propose?
Limit campaigns spending, transparency-publicize spending on the
blockchain web, not allow corporate and large organization spending,
limit spending per individual, have a daily campaign TV show on Olelo
Do you agree or disagree with the Trump administrations assessment
that Hawaii has been weak on Medicaid fraud enforcement? If you
agree, what should be done to improve enforcement?
Don’t know if Hawaii is weak on medicaid fraud, but transparency as
above with an interested management force, the kapuna, can have fun
watching over our system to help and keep clean.
What can the state government do to better support and improve public
education in Hawaii?
Reform school by incorporating the internet into school and adult
learning for proper recognition for graduation and job development and
placement. Parents should be part of the school system when they have
children in school. What is your position on the U.S. military’s renegotiations of its land
leases in Hawaii?
The Hawaiians should have their land back, the 10 percent policy, giving
back 10 percent each year and assisting the Hawaiian owners with
cleanup and development for agriculture based community living and
entrepreneurial development.
What role, if any, should the state government have in regulating the
artificial intelligence industry?
Difficult, but management and control is important, maybe state should
control the pipes and tax use which can address environmental issues
and human concerns from the use of the tech.
Is there anything more that you would like voters to know about you?
We need to clean up our environment here in Hawaii and around
the World, the pollution is critical with the air we breathe, our
water, the ocean purity, food quality, climate crises, the noise,
and the tension we are creating. We can do this by becoming
more circular with our economy, striving to be self sufficient to
feed ourselves while protecting our environment for a healthier
body and climate for the future. Harmonious, holistic, organic,
and Pono.
